The first thing you want to do when cleaning a gas stove is remove the grates that sit on top of the burner. Scrub them with warm soapy water and vinegar before setting them aside to dry.
Wipe away and loose food particles before you scrub around the burners with warm soapy water. Dry the stove top before wiping with a generous amount of vinegar. Let the vinegar sit for 10 minutes before drying the stove.
Make sure to wipe the back wall behind the burners and around the temperature control knobs. Replace the grates to their original place and you will have successfully cleaned your gas stove top!
