Tzatziki sauce is typically used in gyros, but it also great as a dip for chips or vegetable trays.
This is one of my favorite dips to make and is simple yet delicious. Traditionally, this sauce is made with Greek yogurt, however, I'm not a huge fan of the flavor of Greek yogurt so I started using mayo instead. I have tried a couple variations of this recipe, but this is by far my favorite version.

One batch makes a quart of tzatziki sauce and takes approximately 10 minutes to make.
Your List of Ingredients
2 Cucumbers, peeled and deseeded
1 cup Mayo
1 cup Sour Cream
1 Tbsp. Dill Weed
2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Pepper
Prep the Cucumbers
After peeling and removing the seeds from the cucumbers, put them into a food processor and blend. This may need to be done in batches depending on the size of the food processor.
Transfer the cucumber to a fine mesh sieve or colander and let the excess liquid drain from cucumber.
Mix
Mix everything together and enjoy!
Have Fun with It!
