Last week I made soft pretzels, and, in my opinion, the best dip for these salty treats is cheese dip. This cheese dip can be made with any cheese you want. I choose sharp cheddar cheese for this batch because I believe it goes best with soft pretzels.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup Heavy Whipping Cream

  • 2 tsp Salt

  • 16 oz Cheddar (or cheese of your choice)

Preparation

Measure all ingredients.

Add cheese, salt, and 1/2 cup cream to medium saucepan.

As the Cheese begins to melt, slowly add the remaining cream until the sauce is smooth and creamy.

Have Fun with It!

This is the most basic cheese sauce recipe; you can easily add additional flavors such as roasted garlic and/or various spices. Feel free to experiment to find your favorite combination. If y'all have any questions, I'd be glad to answer them in the comments below.
