Biscuits and Gravy

My favorite breakfast food of all time is biscuits and gravy especially with them being so easy to make! You can make this with Homemade Biscuits or just as easily use Pillsbury biscuits, or, as my husband calls them, whop'em biscuits. The best part is that the sausage gravy can be made in one pan and in less than 30 minutes.



 

Ingredients

  • 1 lbs. Ground Pork Sausage

  • 3 Tbsp. Butter

  • 1/3 cup Flour

  • 2 cups Heavy Cream

  • 1 cup Water

  • 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

it's All About the Gravy

Place sausage in a deep skillet and season with salt and pepper.

Brown the sausage.

Add the butter.

Sprinkle in the flour.

Stir.

Add cream, water, and garlic powder.

Cook until thickened to personal preference.

Serve over biscuits.
